NXT Trex-bot is designed to search and pick up a 1x2 black brick using it's light sensor then move it around, drop the object or gently place it down.

Two motors are used for steering and movement and the third motor is used to control the head and jaw actions.

Accessories

The construction is divided into number of sub assemblies. Each sub assembly contains Step-by-step detailed 3D renderings, which will guide you to build this robot.

Most of the parts used are from the new NXT and original RCX Mindstorms sets. However you may need some extra parts in order to build this robot. Extra components can be purchased through the Lego store ,Lego education store or number of other Lego online vendors.

The function of this robot is to sense a 1 by 2 brick using it’s light sensor, pick it up and move it elsewhere then it can either drop the part or place it down gently depending on the direction of the motor.

NXT-G program not included.
